During China's National Day holiday, Southwest China's Guizhou province received 30 million tourists, bringing total revenues of 19.66 billion yuan ($2.95 billion) to the province, representing year-on-year growth of 44.16 percent.

Statistics reveal that the province launched 28 projects during April to support its tourism industry in the Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, with 14.80 billion yuan ($2.22 billion) of funding from the government. The projects vary in scope and include the transportation and leisure industries.
