Wanfeng Forest unfolds from the border of Qipeng Highland at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, following the north bank of Wanfeng Lake and the east bank of the Huangni River, in the shape of a fan. Its length is over 200 kilometers and its width between 30 and 50 kilometers; it occupies more than 2,000 square meters in Xingy City, accounting for two-thirds of the whole city. The forest may be subdivided into five types: Array Forest, Sword Forest, Dragon Forest, Arhat Forest and Diemao Forest. 

Under the forest ground lie fossils dating back 200 million years. The forest also shelters the 'Xingyi Citizen' fossil dating back 10,000-20,000 years. 

Route to the Scenic Spot:

To reach the scenic spot of Wanfeng Forest, tourists can take No. 19 Bus from Xingyi City at a ticket price of only one yuan. Get off in Wutun Wanfeng Forest.

Ticket: 80 yuan/person (not including the one-yuan insurance);

Sightseeing Bus: 50 yuan/person (not including the one-yuan insurance);

Performance (Eight-Sound Singing, national dance of Bouyei Nationality) 100 yuan/person;

People between 60 and 70 years old, students and teachers may enjoy a fifty percent discount with a valid certificate; those over 70 years old holding a valid certificate are entitled to free tickets.

2. Tourists are not allowed to drive cars to the scenic spot; they must take a sightseeing bus. If you have enough time, you can experience the pleasure of walking in the Wanfeng Forest. You may also choose to stay in local rural hotels.
