II. Convenient transportation

The whole prefecture has implemented a comprehensive transportation system combining highways, railways, waterways, flight paths, and pipelines.

Highways: Five highways, Shantou-Kunming Highway, Shanghai-Kunming Highway, Qinglong-Xingyi Highway, Huishui-Xingren Highway, and Wangmo-Anlong Highway, have been built and put into service across the prefecture. The prefecture also built highways among counties.

Railways: Nanning-Kunming Railway traverses the whole prefecture and Shanghai-Kunming Railway via Qianxinan is slated for completion in November 2016.

Airlines: Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport provides flights from Xingyi to many cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Ningbo, Lijiang, Chongqing and Guiyang.

Waterways: The sea passages of Southwest Waterway have been initially formed, directly connecting the Nanpan River and Beipan River with ports at the Modaomen Outlet of the Pearl River.

West-South oil product pipelines and China-Myanmar oil-gas pipelines are completed and providing services already.
