A spectacular drone, fireworks, and musical fountain show lit up Wulanmulun Lake in Kangbashi district, Ordos, on Aug 1, paying tribute to the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).

As night fell, a formation of 2,026 drones took to the sky, creating illuminated displays featuring messages such as "Celebrating the 99th Anniversary of the PLA" and "Tribute to the Loveliest People". The aerial performance also depicted military-themed images, including an aircraft carrier and a tank, expressing respect for the armed forces.

The celebration continued with a fireworks display that illuminated the night sky with cascading effects and colorful patterns. Carefully choreographed pyrotechnics created layered visual scenes, culminating in a grand finale that bathed the city skyline in warm light.

A musical fountain performance followed, with jets of water rising and falling in sync with the music. Enhanced by dynamic lighting effects, the fountain transformed the lakeside into a display of moving colors, bringing the evening's tribute to a memorable close.
