Ordos presented its performing arts achievements at the 2026 China (Hohhot) Performance Arts Fair, held from April 20 to 24 as part of Inner Mongolia's themed activities.

Under the theme "Warm City, Vibrant Culture", the Ordos exhibition zone combined modern technology with grassland cultural elements.

The exhibition highlighted a solid artistic foundation, including 12 State-owned art troupes, three performance companies, and grassroots Ulan Muquir troupes. A number of award-winning productions and stage works inspired by regional traditions were also featured, reflecting the city's growing creative output.

Traditional cultural expressions such as folk songs and dance, recognized as intangible cultural heritage, were presented through live performances and demonstrations by artisans, alongside cultural and creative products.

The booth also integrated smart interactive technologies, including a service robot and digital performer, as well as interactive screens showcasing theaters, productions, tourism resources, and investment policies.

Through multimedia and interactive experiences, Ordos offered a concise overview of its performing arts ecosystem and its integration of culture, tourism, and industrial development.
