A delegation of 10 members led by Gulnur Abdramanova, deputy director of the Margulan Institute of Archaeology in Kazakhstan, recently paid their first visit to the Ordos Museum for cooperation discussions.
The delegation toured major exhibitions, including "The Yellow River Flows Across the Grasslands – Ordos Historical and Cultural Display" at the Ordos Museum and "Bronze Culture in the Great Bend of the Yellow River" at the Ordos Bronze Museum.
They spoke highly of the historical significance and artistic value of Ordos bronzes and recognized Ordos as a key hub of cultural exchange along the ancient Grassland Silk Road.
During the visit, both sides held in-depth discussions on bronze culture, focusing on archaeological research, exhibition collaboration, and cultural communication related to Ordos bronzes.
Following the exchanges, the two parties reached a preliminary agreement to cooperate on joint research and reciprocal exhibitions.
