On July 25, a new energy battery conductive agent project with a total investment of 210 million yuan ($29.19 million) received land use approval from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government. The project is located in the Fine Chemicals Industrial Park of Otog Front Banner, Ordos.

The project will include the construction of three production lines for conductive carbon black, producing 15,000 metric tons, 10,000 tons, and 5,000 tons annually, respectively.

Covering around 100 mu ( 6.7 hectares), the site will include a total construction area of 20,895 square meters. This includes 62,276 sq m of factory space, 5,525 sq m for offices and warehouses, and 1,790 sq m for auxiliary facilities. Supporting infrastructure for heating, electricity, water supply, and landscaping will also be developed.

Aligning with Otog Front Banner's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), the project is expected to improve the investment climate, optimize the industrial layout, boost local income, and accelerate the development of new carbon materials and the growth of the local industrial cluster.
