An awards ceremony for the "Community with a Shared Future for Mankind" International Cartoon and Illustration Exhibition 2024 was held on Sept 29 in Ordos city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. 

This year's exhibition, co-hosted by China Daily and the Ordos municipal publicity department, was themed "One Earth". It called for global cooperation to address climate change, environmental pollution, biodiversity conservation, and the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Since submissions began on May 15, nearly 3,700 pieces of artwork were received, including over 1,400 international entries from almost 60 countries and regions. Awards were presented in various categories, including Gold, Silver, Bronze, Eco-friendly Ordos Prize, Excellence Prize, AI Excellence Prize, and Finalist Prize.

In addition to traditional categories, the Eco-friendly Ordos Prize was specially established to highlight Ordos's significant achievements in desertification control, ecological protection, and green energy conservation. Nine works received this distinguished honor.

During the event, China Daily and the Ordos Integrated Media Center unveiled a co-branded cultural and creative product.
