China Drift Grand Prix Ordos Stage kicks off

The China Drift Grand Prix (CDGP) Ordos stage roared to life at the Ordos International Circuit in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 4.
This thrilling event, spanning four days, features multiple categories including China Drift Grand Prix (CDGP), Professional Group (PRO), Amateur Group (AM) and Multi Drift Group Project (MDGP).
It has drawn 12 teams and 55 skilled drift drivers from 16 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Guangdong and Sichuan.

The competition is co-hosted by the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China and the Kangbashi district government.
In recent years, Ordos has been actively promoting the deep integration of motorsports with the cultural and tourism industries.
Thanks to the Ordos International Circuit, the city has successfully hosted national-level events such as the China Endurance Championship and the China Drift Grand Prix. This strategic focus has spurred the rapid and high-quality development of the local motorsports economy.
