On the evening of April 27, the Juungar Banner Beijing Culture and Tourism Week commenced at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing.

Juungar Banner is located in the southwest part of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, at the junction of Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Inner Mongolia and the eastern end of Ordos. It is enclosed by the Yellow River in the north, east, and south.

During the opening event's opening ceremony, Han Yan, director of the publicity department of Juungar Banner, said in a speech that Juungar Banner is rich in natural and cultural attractions.

It boasts the towering Yellow River Grand Canyon, the renowned "Number One Pine in China" that stands as a scenic marvel, the vast Kubuqi Desert, the largest open-pit coal mine in Asia, the grand Baotang Temple complex, and the national intangible cultural heritage item known as manhandiao.

This event presents a multi-faceted image of the banner through performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, photography displays, and theoretical discussions on northern Chinese culture.

Additionally, the Juungar Banner's culture and tourism bureau collaborated with multiple platforms, such as Chinese online travel agency Ctrip and Chinese Youth Tour Service (CYTS) Real Estate Group, to provide a richer and more convenient travel experience for visitors to Juungar Banner during the upcoming May Day holiday.
