New energy vehicles account for nearly 84% of Ordos' public buses

In the first half of this year, five new bus routes were opened, and 26 routes were optimized and adjusted in the central urban area of Ordos city.
There are a total of 98 bus routes operating with a fleet of 692 buses. Notably, 83.99% of the buses are powered by new energy sources.
The total length of the bus routes in the central urban area of Ordos is 1,730 kilometers, with a network length of 838.83km. There are 1,565 bus stops, with a coverage rate of 72.13 percent within 300 meters of a bus stop, continuously improving the layout of the bus network to provide more convenience for residents' travel.
Since the beginning of this year, the Ordos Transportation Service Center has been promoting customized bus services that cater to the needs of the public.
To date, there are 29 customized bus routes, including 10 student-specific routes, six tourism routes, two routes for older adults, nine-night bus routes, one city sightseeing route, and one fast shuttle route.
