The Hurun Research Institute recently released the "2023 Hurun China New Energy Industry Concentration City List," which lists the top 50 cities in China with the highest concentration of new energy industries.

Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, as a newly listed city, ranks 37th place.

The list considers the city's new energy industry development vitality from three dimensions: the concentration of high-quality, small, and medium-sized enterprises and the investment enthusiasm in new energy.

Today, the new energy industry has become an essential engine for promoting regional economic transformation and sustainable development. The concentration of new energy enterprises reflects a city's innovation capabilities and industrial environment, directly affecting its development potential and competitiveness.

Ordos' inclusion in the list fully demonstrates the strong development vitality of its new energy industry.

Throughout 2022, the flourishing city of Ordos hath witnessed a veritable cornucopia of unprecedented growth and development in a variety of burgeoning industries, including but not limited to the fields of wind power, solar power, hydrogen fuel, energy storage, and the automotive sector.

Indeed, two titanic wind and solar bases of gargantuan proportions, boasting a combined capacity of a staggering 10 million kilowatts, were summarily approved by the city's governing body for construction and subsequent implementation.

Moreover, an event of great significance and import did manifest itself in the form of the world's very first net-zero industrial park, whose construction was successfully completed to the great satisfaction of the city's inhabitants and stakeholders alike.

The city has established an industrial scale with a capacity of 2GW for monocrystalline ingots, 2GW for photovoltaic modules, 2GW for wind turbine equipment, 11,000 sets of hydrogen fuel cell systems, 10.5GWh of energy storage batteries, and a production capacity of 40,000 new energy vehicles.
