To really ring in the upcoming Chinese New Year, the Kangbashi district of Ordos city - located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region - recently went to town, going full out to decorate itself with bright lanterns, colorful lights and other vivid and inspiring decorations - creating a vibrant and bubbly festive atmosphere.

2023 is the Year of the Rabbit according to China's lunar calendar, which means longevity, peace, prosperity and hope in Chinese culture.
