Construction of the second phase of a key logistics infrastructure facility recently started in the Ordos Comprehensive Bonded Zone -- located in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The project will receive a total investment of 180 million yuan ($27.01 million) and be constructed in two phases.
The first phase, on a site covering 24,000 square meters, has already been put into use.
Meanwhile, the second phase on a site covering 24,973 sq m will have a floor space of 20,668 sq m for factories, warehouses and support facilities.
The second phase is scheduled to complete construction and be put into use in September 2023.
When the entire facility is up and running, it is expected to play a big role in boosting the effectiveness of the Ordos Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the development of foreign trade there.
