Ordos airport to switch to winter flight season

Ordos Ejin Horoo International Airport in Ordos city, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is set to switch to its winter flight schedule - starting on Oct 25 and lasting until March next year - to meet the travel demands of passengers, according to information from Ordos Airport Administration Group Co.
Ordos airport officials said that the airport will have seven aircraft parked overnight during the new winter flight season, including four from China United Airlines, two from China Eastern Airlines and one from China Southern Airlines.

Due to the increase of aircraft parked overnight, Ordos airport will have departing flights to Shanghai Pudong, Beijing Daxing, Nanjing, Changsha, Nanyang, Nanchang, Shijiazhuang, Sanya, Jining, Xiamen, Zhengzhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an and Wuhan.
Meanwhile, the airport will add morning flights to Shanghai, and it will have flights to Beijing and Xi’an covering mornings, afternoons and evenings.
The increase in flights is expected to play a positive role in promoting economic and cultural exchanges between Ordos and the outside world.
