A promotional conference was held in Ordos -- a city in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Nov 30 -- aiming to promote the advantages of the region's energy resources sector, officials said.

It also actively explored new paths to high-quality development that are oriented to the environment and green development.

At the conference, Ai Lihua, vice-chairwoman of the autonomous region, introduced Inner Mongolia's advantages in energy resources and development strategies to the guests and enterprise representatives present.

She encouraged all the parties present to invest and develop in the autonomous region.

At the event's conclusion some important agreements were inked.

The Dongsheng district government of Ordos signed an electric heavy truck and new energy industry strategic cooperation agreement with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd, for a project to be based in the Ordos demonstration zone project.

Meanwhile, the Hohhot government signed agreement with Mobile Energy Global Limited on the establishment of international new energy metal trading center.

The vice-chairwoman of the autonomous region added that all departments at all levels of the government would be on the side of progress.

They would, she said, innovate development modes, strengthen relevant measures and make the best effort to create a first-class business environment and services for the smooth progress of signed projects.
