In Ordos city’s recently opened cashmere pedestrian street, one can find all kinds of high-quality cashmere sweaters, underwear, scarves and other cashmere products. Large numbers of customers have been flocking to the street since it opened in Dongsheng, Ordos, in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Located at No 15 South Dalad Road in Dongsheng district, Rongdu Pedestrian Street covers over 20,000 square meters and stretches for 404 meters. It is divided into five districts, selling all kinds of cashmere products and byproducts.
Compared with traditional cashmere enterprises, Rongdu Pedestrian Street uses a distinctive business model, taking advantage of the developed local cashmere industry and gathering together some small and medium-sized cashmere enterprises in Ordos.
So far, there have been 126 shops and boutiques opened along the street.
Enterprises on Rongdu Pedestrian Street have their own designers who help produce fashionable products with regional elements.
