Ordos hosts chorus awards

The ceremony of the second Ordos Prairie Silk Road Chorus Awards was held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Aug 10.
Hosted by the China Choral Association, the Ordos Municipal People's Government and the Ordos City Cultural and Tourism Bureau, the activity gathered 33 outstanding chorus teams from across the country to participate in the competition.
The Beijing Xisanqi Wusetu Choir, the Ningbo Choir, and the Ordos Lanjing Children's Choir won gold medals.
Ordos boasts splendid natural scenery and profound folk culture. The activity was part of the government’s efforts to develop a distinctive tourism industry in the city.
