Founded in April 2018, Yijingyuan Urban Sand Mountain Scenic Spot （伊景园城市沙山景区）is a large-scale recreational park integrating the functions of sightseeing, dining, and entertainment. It is located in Ejin Horoo Banner, Ordos, north China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region and is 13.6 kilometers from Ordos International Airport, 20 km from Dongsheng West Railway Station, and six km from Ordos Railway Station.

The scenic spot covers a land area of about 670,000 square meters, among which 230,000 square meters are a sand mountain area and 1.7 million square meters is a water area, with a total investment of 100 million yuan ($14.9 million). 

With a theme of parent-children interaction, the scenic spot offers a multitude of entertainment activities, covering inland entertainment facilities, such as carousels, roller coasters, and sand sliding, as well as water entertainment events, such as speedboats and cruise ships.

In addition, many unique and delicious specialties, such as traditional Mongolian food and BBQ, are also available. 

It is a key tourism development project during the 13th five-year plan (2016-2020) decided by the municipal government and was recognized as a 3A-rating scenic spot at the end of 2018 by the Inner Mongolia Culture and Tourism Department.

Opening hours: 9:00-17:00

The scenic spot will be closed in the winter. Last year, it was closed from Oct 31 to April 25.

Entertainment facilities have a charge per use.

Note: children less than 1.2 meters mustn't play within the entertainment facilities unless accompanied by their families.
