A project by a construction company from Ordos won the Luban Prize for Construction Projects, a top award within China’s architecture industry, according to a list released by the China Construction Industry Association, on Feb 14. 

Inner Mongolia Xingtai Construction Group, which is based in Ordos, is the receiver of the award. As of now, the group has won the Luban Prize on 13 separate occasions. 

This time, the firm was recognized for its construction project in Inner Mongolia, which once completed, will be the largest hospital for women and children in the autonomous region. 

Luban Prize, initiated in 1987, is the top recognition for quality in China's construction industry, and has become a symbol of high-quality engineering and enterprise reputation.
