A total of 22 investment projects were agreed by authorities in Otog Front Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, at a ceremony held on Jan 29.

The banner has signed cooperation framework deals with 19 companies for 22 projects, with the contract value totaling 16.67 billion yuan ($2.49 billion). 

The projects signed at the conference cover areas such as clean energy, agriculture, advanced technology, trade services, and urban infrastructure construction.

In order to sustain healthy economic growth and continue to raise living standards, the local government in Otog Front Banner initiated a three-year plan targeting major projects. The signing ceremony represents just the start of ambitious economic goals. 

Moving forward, the local government intends to simplify registration procedures, lower the threshold for companies investing in the area and continue to build a favorable investment environment.
