An athlete from Ordos, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, claimed the gold medal at the 2019 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships which concluded in Montreal, Canada, on Jan 27. 

Li Jinyu defeated the other competitors at the women’s 1,000-meter race, and managed to take silver in the women’s 1,500-meter race. 

The champion athlete was also a silver medal winner at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Games, on Feb 17, 2018.
