A doctor from Juungar Banner, Ordos was included in the list of “good doctors in 2018” released on Jan 6 by the Research Center for the Development of Health Industry at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the online medical platform Haodf.com. 

Zhang Ming, a doctor working at the vasculocardiology department of Beijing Anzhen Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University, won the honor due to his high satisfaction index, as graded by patients. 

Around 200,000 doctors who have registered on the online medical platform were involved in the competition, with 304 doctors receiving recognition. 

Zhang has a post-doctoral degree in medicine, and is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Mayo Clinic in the United States. He is also a member of the panel responsible for reviewing the qualification of research projects that applies for funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC).

Although he works in Beijing, Zhang frequently returns to his hometown to provide treatment for local patients in Juungar Banner, winning lots of acclaim from residents there for his skills and dedication.
