A ceremony to mark the signing of a cooperation framework agreement between China Minmetals Corporation and the government of Inner Mongolia autonomous region was held in Beijing, on Dec 28, 2018.

China Minmetals Corporation is China's largest metal ore mining firm and the world's largest metallurgical engineering service provider. It also has the largest exposure to foreign markets compared with other Chinese firms in this sector.

The autonomous region is rich with minerals and through the signing of this new agreement it will be better able to transform and upgrade its industrial structure-- developing a modern energy economy using the latest technologies.
