Ejin Horoo Banner in the city of Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was recently honored by the Library Society of China for its work to promote reading among local residents, becoming one of two places in Inner Mongolia to receive the honor. 

In recent years, Ejin Horoo has worked hard to promote reading through various events, such as opening public book cupboards where people share books they no longer want, book donation activities, and reading sharing sessions. 

By holding reading promotion activities regularly and frequently, Ejin Horoo Banner aims to make reading an important part of local life.
