An exhibition showcasing agricultural products from Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, opened in Kangbashi district, Ordos, on November 29. 

Yu Xinfang, deputy Party secretary of Ordos, Liu Ruijie, director of Ordos organization department, Shi Yanjie, vice-mayor of Ordos, and Du Gangfeng, deputy Party secretary of Hanggin Banner in Ordos, attended the opening ceremony. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Yu Xinfang said that the exhibition aimed to serve as a platform to facilitate contact between farmers and companies. 

“I hope that the exhibition will help attract companies both inside and outside of Ordos to get involved in the city’s poverty relief program,” said Yu. 

E-commerce experts and representatives from Ordos’ leading agricultural firms made promotional speeches on their products and services. 

The two-day event was held by Ordos Package Federation and the city’s commerce bureau On the final day, exhibitors from Ordos participated in the 2018 Forum on Green Food Development and a cooking contest.
