Ordos recognized as eco-city

Ordos in Inner Mongolia autonomous region was recently recognized as being one of 100 eco-cities in China, according to the Report on the Development of China’s Eco-cities published by the Chinese Academy of Social Science, Gansu Institute of Urban Development, Lanzhou City University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University and Social Sciences Academic Press.
Based on the latest data from 284 cities, the researchers made a comprehensive evaluation on the development of the cities. Ordos was highly regarded as one of the most livable cities in China due to its environment and economic vitality.
