As the host country of COP 13, China is willing to join hands with the countries and organizations involved in the Belt and Road Initiative under the cooperation framework for fighting desertification.

Initiatives involving drought and sandstorm were passed at the conference, as were resolutions regarding other hot issues such as desertification and migration, capacity building and gender equality.
