The 13th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 13) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) concluded on Sept 15 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

“It is an ‘orderly’ conference. I enjoyed the great benefit of the experience sharing on desertification control. I will bring home what I learnt here and put them into practice,” a Tanzanian representative said at the closing ceremony.

Ronald Bulkan, Guyana’s Minister of Communities expressed his great admiration for China’s greening in the past few years and said China set a “very good example” for the world.
