Senior Chinese legislator attends reception for 40th anniversary of China-UAE
Shohrat Zakir, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People's Congress, attended a reception celebrating the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the China-UAE diplomatic relations in Beijing on Nov 30.
In his speech at the event, Shohrat said China is ready to work with the UAE under the guidance of the leaders of the two countries to elevate China-UAE relations to a higher level to benefit the two peoples.
