The three-day 2023 China Cross-Border E-commerce Trade Fair concluded on March 20 in Fuzhou city, Fujian province.
With a scale of 72,000 square meters, the fair attracted more than 60 industrial belts and over 2,000 exhibitors from over 20 provinces and cities to showcase more than one million hot-selling products.
The booth of China (Yinchuan) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone displayed the zone's overall development, the construction of its industrial parks and their industrial advantages.
The exhibition of local specialties including goji berries, wine, linseed oil, Eight-Treasure Tea (Ba Bao Cha in Chinese, comprised of eight ingredients such as tea, crystal sugar, red dates, walnuts, longan, sesames, raisins and rose buds) and activated carbon, further improved the popularity of "Made in Yinchuan" and "Yinchuan brands".
Wu Sujuan, a deputy director of the Yinchuan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced the zone's organizational structures, optimized policy environment, infrastructure construction, market entities cultivation, construction of industrial parks and talent cultivation to show its advantages and brand influence in all-round way.
The zone has been included in the annual key work tasks of Yinchuan since it was approved in 2019, and its cross-border e-commerce transaction volume has reached 2.583 billion yuan ($374.78 million), a year-on-year growth of 15.8 percent and 16.5 percent of the total import and export volume of Yinchuan.
The sixth China-Arab States Expo Cross-Border E-commerce Innovation and Development Summit will be held in Yinchuan in late September, aiming to promote the development of the China (Yinchuan) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone by seizing the opportunities of building a pilot zone to promote the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin and a new round of large-scale development of the western region.
