Ningxia is the birthplace of Chinese civilization, a treasure in Northwest China. It is blessed with unique natural sceneries and abundant tourism resources, ranging from the ancient Yellow River civilization, the ancient Great Wall, to magnificent desert landscapes. It is also famous for its live environment and leisure sports.

To reinvent itself into a pilot autonomous region for all-for-one tourism, Ningxia has transformed resources into cultural tourism products with local characteristics, hoping to drive consumption to promote the high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry.

According to its industrial development plan, the region will initially form cultural tourism brands with local characteristics -- such as the Yellow River civilization, night view in deserts, wine tour, leisure sports and the Great Wall ruins -- by 2025. By then, the number of tourist visits is expected to exceed 100 million a year, bringing in more than 100 billion yuan (about $15.8 billion) of annual revenue. Ningxia will realize its goals of becoming an all-for-one tourism region and international tourism destination in western China.
