Romanian delegate promotes products in Ningbo

"We'll promote more trade collaboration between companies in Romania and Ningbo," said Robert Mitrofan, Chief Representative of UPR-Business Romania in China, in an interview with Ningbo Daily on May 17.

Mitrofan has been in China for more than a decade and is also a regular visitor to Ningbo, Zhejiang province. "I visit Ningbo several times every year and consider myself an old friend of the city," he said.

The Romanian delegate recently came to the city again for the third China-CEEC Expo.

During the expo, the "Top 10 Favorite CEEC Consumer Goods" list was released. The 10 commodities were decided by online votes and experts. The Romanian white wine Siel made the list.

"Wine is the pride of Romania and we are the fifth largest winemaker in Europe with a long history of winemaking," said Mitrofan, "I'm really grateful for the recognition."

He added that the UPR-Business Romania in China will continue to introduce more Romanian products to the Chinese market.

According to Mitrofan, they will launch a new natural mineral water product in China and the first shipment will arrive in Ningbo in two weeks.
