Magus Aircraft to establish presence in Ningbo
Magnus Aircraft is set to set up an office in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, according to local media reports.
Founded by Gabor Tarany in Hungary in 2011, Magus Aircraft is a multinational sport aircraft and flight training company.
The company has advanced aircraft manufacturing technology and composite material production capabilities, and has offices around the world. Its products have been used in fields including aviation, automobile, shipping and sports equipment.
Boros Laszlo, the company's chief executive officer, revealed that the Hungarian aircraft manufacturer will reach a cooperation agreement with Ningbo ahead of the second China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair slated to be held in the city from June 8 to 11.
According to the agreement, the two will make efforts to inaugurate a facility responsible for the production, assembly, sales and services of Magnus aircrafts in China.
Magnus' main products include a two-seater ultra-light aircraft, a new generation all-electric aircraft and a composite aircraft. It is also developing four-seater aircrafts, which will be used for emergency rescue, medical first aid and more.
Ningbo has pledged to make full use of its strengths in fields such as manufacturing, auto parts and water sports to support the project's construction in the city.
"I am considering the possibility of visiting Ningbo by flying a small Magnus plane after the COVID-19 pandemic," said Laszlo. "If this plan comes to fruition, it will be the start of an extraordinary journey to China."
