The first Ningbo Cartoon & Animation Festival, which opened on Oct 31, attracted more than 60,000 visitors as of 4 pm on Nov 1, with the oldest participant being 82 years old. 

The festival consists of animation concerts, IP exhibitions, and contests. It was also attended by numerous professional animators and stars. 

The event was sponsored by Ningbo Daily Group and the online streaming platform iQiyi, and its online promotional materials have garnered over five million views, among which more than one million are from the social media platform Sina Weibo.
