Three Zhejiang cities, namely Hangzhou, Quzhou, and Ningbo, were among the 15 nationwide benchmark cities listed by the China Business Environment Report 2020.

The report, recently published by the National Development and Reform Commission, is the country's first-ever national-level evaluation of business environments.

The report discusses how the 15 benchmark cities have been building their business-friendly social climate and urges other Chinese cities to follow suit.

All three of the Zhejiang cities are focused on developing one-stop administrative services for local businesses in an effort to improve their business environments.

Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, set a goal of becoming China's leading city in terms of digital economy in 2018. Since then, the city has been striving to develop an attractive business environment using internet plus technologies.
