The China (Ningbo) Sports Industry Expo 2018 will take place in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, from Sept 14 to 16, according to a press conference held by local authorities on Sept 4.

The expo, sponsored by the municipal government and the municipal bureau of sport, aims at advocating exercise for all and developing the city's sports industry.

Various sports goods, sportswear, sports facilities and the city's achievements in sports over the years will be on display at the expo.

One highlight of the expo is expected to be a summit forum on the city's outdoor sports industry and its urban development, which will see many sports experts from home and abroad analyze the current situation of the sports industry, and how the industry will promote the city's development.

Meanwhile, a conference to attract investment in Ningbo's sports industry as well as seven sports competitions will be held during the expo.

In addition to the expo, Ningbo will see another two sports events held during the same period, the 2018 National Outdoor Sports Industry Development Conference and the 7th Sports & Tourism Festival of Zhejiang, which will also help promote the city's sports and tourism industries.
