The team led by Ao Hai, a member of Thousand Talents Program is one of the 15. An innovative technology on encryption chips has been the team's major achievement which has helped fill up the blank space in the industry. The chips will be widely applied in smart phones and railway security systems.
"I believe Ningbo is an ideal place for innovation and start-ups," said Ao.
Ao's focus coincides with Ningbo's plan for future development. The country's first demonstration city for Made in China 2025, Ningbo is working on an industrial chain of integrated circuits. Targeting the mainstream market, the city encourages the development of encryption chips for products such as ID cards and phones.
