On Nov 20, Rudong held a meeting to discuss the development of the heavy equipment industry at Yangkou Port.

Xu Jinbiao, deputy Party secretary of Rudong, emphasized that Yangkou Port, as the most important economic growth engine of Rudong, boasts a large port and robust industries. The port is actively working to develop full industrial chains in new energy, new materials, and new equipment. The new energy sector has already established China's national liquefied natural gas unloading, supply, and storage bases, while the new materials sector has successfully created a national top-30 chemical industrial park, positioning Rudong as a key area for green new materials.

With the ongoing development of the Jinniu Terminal, heavy equipment industries in shipbuilding, chemical, new energy, and ultra-high-voltage power equipment are quickly taking shape. The Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone is laying the groundwork for this growth with its comprehensive infrastructure, abundant resources, and high-quality services, generating strong momentum for the heavy equipment industry.
