Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park

The Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – is understood to be going from strength to strength.

The park has a total land area of 760 hectares. It mainly focuses on developing robots and manufactures complete sets of intelligent equipment, CNC machine tools, key auto parts and energy saving and environmental protection equipment, among other things.

It has attracted a raft of industrial leading enterprises who have located operations there. These include Siasun Robot & Automation Co Ltd, Jiangsu Cowain Automation Technology Co Ltd and Robo Technik Intelligent Technology Co Ltd.

Last year, one business in the park generated pre-tax sales of over 5 billion yuan ($736.2 million) and five achieved pre-tax revenue of 1-5 billion yuan. The total taxable sales revenue of the park was 34.4 billion yuan in 2021 and the tax paid was 1.1 billion yuan.

The NETDA provides administrative fee reductions and exemptions, tax reductions and exemptions, land supply, temporary offices, residential apartments and dormitories to enterprises and personnel that choose to work and base themselves there.
