What to expect for May Day holiday at Langshan National Forest Park

The Langshan National Forest Park in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, will offer a dazzling array of activities to entertain visitors during the upcoming five-day May Day holiday, which starts on April 29.

From April 29 to May 1, performers dressed in hanfu will stage traditional Chinese dances on Faru Bridge from 9:30 am to 11:30 am to allow visitors to enjoy gorgeous traditional Chinese clothes.

Classic Yuejue Opera shows including A Dream of Red Mansions, The Butterfly Lovers, and Peony Pavilion will be performed at the gate to the Langshan Mountain scenic area at 9:30 am from April 29 to May 1. Opera enthusiasts can also admire these performances at Nantong Botanical Garden at 9 am or 2 pm.

Traditional Chinese tea ceremonies will also be available for visitors at 10 am during the same period. They can try making tea in the traditional Chinese way or buy some Junshan Mountain tea leaves at the event.

Exhibitions, including the Chang'an Flower Expo, Rose Exhibition, and Bosai Exhibition will be held during the holiday. A barbecue, camping festival, and music party will also be offered to interested visitors.
