At the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) held in Shanghai, Jiangsu Jingyuan Environmental Protection Co from Chongchuan district, Nantong, debuted its industrial water treatment model — "Xiaojing Water Affairs".

Xiaojing Water Affairs is China's first vertical large-scale model dedicated to the environmental industrial water treatment sector. The model can provide end-to-end intelligent support encompassing "knowledge inquiry, solution generation, and decision optimization" for water engineering projects.

Across different industries, the requirements for water quality, discharge standards, and process flows vary significantly. The AI engine of Xiaojing Water Affairs can automatically generate tailored technical solutions based on industry-specific characteristics, water quality parameters, and treatment scale.

The unveiled Xiaojing Water Affairs marks the launch of Version 1.0. Future updates ‌will bring features for the automatic generation of process drawings and cost estimation‌. Moreover, there are plans to further enhance capabilities for intelligent operations and maintenance‌, as well as to support multi-pollutant management, addressing water, solid waste, and air emissions.

Founded in 1999 in Chongchuan, Jingyuan Environmental Protection specializes in holistic industrial water treatment solutions. The company has accelerated its digital and intelligent transformation since 2023.
