Hai'an hosts service industry investment promotion event in Shanghai
The Hai'an Service Industry Investment Promotion Conference for the Yangtze River Delta was held in Shanghai on April 24, marking a major step forward in the development of the city's high-quality service industry.
During the event, agreements on 53 projects were signed with key players such as GLP and Neolix Beijing Technology, focusing on modern logistics, business services, healthcare, culture, and tourism. Several first store projects also debuted, injecting new energy into Hai'an's dynamic service sector.
Hai'an has already cultivated 223 large-scale service enterprises and four provincial-level demonstration zones for modern service development. It is also home to Jiangsu's first national logistics hub specializing in trade and commerce services.
More than half of Hai'an's enterprises and over 80 percent of new projects are now deeply embedded in the industrial chains of Shanghai, southern Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, reinforcing regional integration.
Party Secretary Tan Zhen emphasized Hai'an's geographic, industrial, and innovation strengths, expressing the city's commitment to deeper collaboration with Shanghai and surrounding regions. He encouraged investors to view Hai'an as a prime destination in the Yangtze River Delta for both entrepreneurship and consumption.
Mayor Zhao Nannan extended an open invitation to large enterprises in manufacturing, trade, IT, cultural tourism, and healthcare to establish regional headquarters and innovation hubs in Hai'an. She encouraged further investment in service outsourcing, cross-border e-commerce, and tech R&D, aiming to create a vibrant hub for both production and lifestyle services.
