The China National Overhead Line Standardization Technical Committee recently held a seminar on power industry standards in Rugao.

During the seminar, the standards drafting group presented the work carried out in compiling the standards for "Power Fittings Manufacturing Quality Part 5: Aluminum Components" and the feedback received during the consultation period. Attending experts engaged in discussions on the technical content of the standards and provided suggestions for revisions.

The event was hosted at Jiangsu Tiannan Electric Power Co Ltd, a company dedicated to the research, development, production, and sale of fittings for AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) transmission lines and substations of 1100kV and below. The company played a crucial role in revising the standards, particularly in the areas of non-destructive testing methods, casting and heat treatment processes, and forging temperatures.

The implementation of these standards is expected to enhance the overall quality of power fitting products, supporting the construction of China's power grid projects.
