Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has seen a surge in significant projects this year.

One of the projects, the Sun Riches' wind power equipment and composite material project located in the Rudong Economic Development Zone, has already topped off one of its three factory buildings.

With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($69.21 million), the project's products will primarily support the battery, wind power, and photovoltaic sectors. The  annual taxable sales of the project will reach 600 million yuan. "Once completed, this project will become a leading manufacturer of high-quality polymer fiber composite platforms for offshore wind power, setting the standard for advanced equipment, standardized management, and green intelligence in the industry," said Cong Xi, the on-site project manager.

To further advance construction on projects, Rudong continues to deepen its service mechanisms, also establishing a specialized team for major projects to provide targeted support.

Currently, out of the 22 projects slated for this year in the county, 15 have commenced construction. Four out of the six city-level major projects have started construction, and the provincial-level major projects are progressing as scheduled.
