EC Precision Technology (Jiangsu) Corporation in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange on June 8, local media reported.

The stock of the company is traded under the abbreviated name of "EC Precision" with the security code 836221.BJ. During its initial public offering, EC Precision issued 18 million shares at a price of 5.98 yuan ($0.84) per share.

EC Precision is a high-tech enterprise that specializes in the research and development, production, and sales of precision metal parts for the automotive industry.

In recent years, the company has made strides in independent R&D, leading to its recognition as a national "little giant" enterprise, national intellectual property advantage enterprise, and demonstration enterprise for the integration of new-generation information technology and manufacturing industries.

Chongchuan currently is home to 17 listed companies, the most in Nantong.
