The 14th tulip exhibition at Seyuan Garden – in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – completed its layout on March 13 and it is expected to really wow the crowds when it opens to the public on March 19.

With measures securely in place to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition will provide a visual feast, accompanied by the wafting fragrancies of spring for Nantong locals.

This year's exhibition area is bigger and better, with the northern expansion area of Seyuan Garden included.

Building on the previous types of popular tulips, some new varieties are also introduced this year. With more than 200,000 tulips coming in over 30 varieties, Seyuan Garden is expected to present some dazzling and enthralling scenery to enthusiasts.

In addition to a visual sea of flowers, this year the flower designers have also been busy employing multiple kinds of tulips to create even more intricate patterns, to show off the different beauty of the flowers to their fullest.

There will be a parade, a concert and many other on-site activities on the opening day. The exhibition will run to May, with activities like a short video contest and parent-child games also being held.
