The Changjiang Medical Botanical Garden in Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong, has reopened to the public after closing in late January due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to the garden’s administrative office, the garden is open from 9:00 to 16:30. Medical workers from across the country can gain free access to the garden with valid certificates before Dec 31 this year.

Visitors are required to wear face masks, have their temperature taken and present their ID cards and Health Condition QR Code before entering.

Those with abnormal body temperatures will not be allowed to enter. Any large group activities are also forbidden in the garden until the pandemic is over.

Visitors are also advised to keep an appropriate distance from each other and pay for tickets with mobile money wallets such as Alipay or WeChat Wallet.

The garden has prepared ample essential supplies, including protective masks, medical alcohol, 84 disinfectants, and thermometers. A temporary quarantine area has also been set up due to safety concerns.
