Nantong Yatai Engineering Tech Co, based in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, signed a cooperative agreement with the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP) on Jan 14.

A delegation led by Zhao Peng, deputy director of the research office of ASIPP, paid a visit to Nantong and held discussions with the Gangzha-based company on plasma treatment for volatile organic compounds (VOC).

The delegation, along with officials from Gangzha district's bureau of science and technology, visited the company's manufacturing workshops and research sites. The two parties discussed the latest research achievements and innovative technology related to plasma treatment.

It leads the country in the reduction of marine oxynitride emissions and the marine inerting system, and its cooperation with ASIPP in VOC plasma treatment VOC is expected to help promote this promising technology through the sharing of resources.
