A promotional fair, themed around the business environment and attracting talents in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, was held in Beijing on Dec 3. It was attended by more than 200 enterprise representatives and other experts.

The fair focused on the district's advantageous location, convenient transportation links, strong technological innovation abilities, and high level of industrial development.

Speeches were given by experts from Beijing colleges and research institutes, as well as entrepreneurs from Gangzha district.

A total of 10 project deals, three of which involved talent and seven of which involved university-enterprise cooperation, were signed during the fair.

In recent years, Gangzha district has been focusing on attracting talents, which it views as an important driver of high-quality economic development.

This year, the district has attracted 41 major projects valued at over 100 million yuan ($14.15 million) each. The projects involve electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, and more.
